I'm fresh from the Melissa Nathan Award For Comedy Romance, held at the Cafe de Paris in London on June 10. My debut novel Bridesmaids was shortlisted, and, though it didn't win, I had a fabulous time. I tell all about my night with Sophie Kinsella, Jo Brand, Joanna Trollope and others in the news section of this site.

My latest novel is The Nearly Weds and follows the story of a jilted bride in the aftermath of the big day that never happened. The heroine, Zoe, finds herself unable to face the pitying looks of her friends and family and flees to the US to work as a nanny, where she finds love, friendship and fun - until her past comes calling.
