A little bit about me
I was born in Liverpool and started my career as a trainee reporter at the Liverpool Echo, where I worked until I eventually became Editor of the Liverpool Daily Post.
I wrote my first book, Bridesmaids, while on maternity leave and when it published in 2008 it became a bestseller, much to my astonishment! I went on to write eight more romantic comedy novels and hit the Sunday Times top ten.
The idea for my tenth book felt different from all the others and so was published under the name 'Catherine Isaac' in 2018. 'You Me Everything' was selected by the Richard & Judy Book Club, movie rights were bought by Lionsgate and Temple Hill, it won an RNA award and was translated into 25 languages. Two more books followed, which you can read about at www.catherine-isaac.com.
I live with my husband Mark and three sons in Liverpool, where I play a lot of tennis and have been renovating our 173-year-old house, which was pretty dilapidated when we bought it. (You can follow my progress on Instagram HERE).
I'm currently working on my next book.
