A Glamour must-read . . . Lots of laugh out loud moments
Glamour

The bestselling author of Bridesmaids has come up trumps again with this sassy, witty and eminently wise tale of a young woman on the run from her past. The author provides a sparky contrast between the characters. Her brooding hero and down to earth heroine strike a perfect balance and, coupled with a fast, earthy dialogue and a rich cast of bit part players, this is escapism with a gritty edge. . . True love might not always run smoothly for this very modern couple but the romance, pain and passion are as much in evidence here as in the smouldering unspoken frissons that run through a Jane Austen novel . . . this is chick lit for grown up girls!
Lancashire Evening Post

The wickedly funny debut novel by a major new voice in romantic comedy... Jane Costello's Bridesmaids will make you howl with laughter. Hilarious, absorbing and absolutely fantastic, join Evie and her friends for a riotous journey into the world of friendships, weddings and romance. Wonderfully written and riveting from beginning to end, Bridesmaids is a book every woman should pack in her beach bag this summer. Don't miss it!

Bridesmaids is a funny and honest account of true friendships, wonderful weddings, a bad husband and an even worse bridesmaid.

5 stars - brilliant!: The first book by a wonderful author. I found this book absolutely hilarious, not only the actions of our herione, but the way she was written and the sense of humour she was given. If you love a good wedding you'll love this book - a real girly, by the sea read. Make sure you pick up a copy for your hols!

'5 stars: After reading a lot of crime novels lately I fancied a break from reading about people murdering each other so opted for this book. It's a typical example of chick lit - fluffy, light-hearted. But I also think it's better than average in that the author is a very witty writer and lots in it made me laugh. Non-taxing and light, very funny - better than most other chick lit writers out there, it certainly hit the spot with me. Good debut.'
