I just wanted to tell you how much I loved The Nearly Weds. I couldn't put it down. I came back from a party long after midnight last week and simply had to read a couple of chapters. I adored Zoe and Ryan and can't wait for your third book. Keep them coming! Rebekka Weiler, Germany
I have just started reading Bridesmaids and love it just as much as Nearly Weds. I can't wait for your next book. They are trully funny stories and I find myself wanting to read them over and over. Thank you for such lovely and heart warming tales - and for making my day so much brighter! Ruth
I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed reading both The Nearly Weds and Bridesmaids. They are so funny and witty. I love your style of writing - so funny and witty. I've just finished Bridesmaids this morning and am now at a loss as to what to do with my spare time. When is your next one coming out? A desperate fan!
I would just like to congratulate you on your new book, The Nearly Weds. It's the first time I've read one of your books and I really enjoyed it - so much so that I kept getting up that bit earlier in the morning so that I could read it before work. It is definitely the best chick-lit book I have read and I've read a lot in the past. You should try to get The Nearly Weds to the cinema screens - it would make a great chick flick. Well done and keep up the fantastic work. Anne O'Leary
Your book is hilarious - my family thought I was a bit ond when I kept bursting out in random hysterics. Thank you so much for the pleasure your book gave me. It really lighted up my life! Louisa from Reading
I started reading Nearly Weds on the plane to the USA and I couldn't put it down. I was so disappointed when it ended - so much so that I read it again and again and ignored my magazines. Please, please write a sequel! Heather
I read your new book - it is truly fabulous. I read it in a record time of two evenings and I was sooo sad when I got to the end - I needed more. Many thanks for a great read. Sue Wilson
I just wanted to say how much I loved your second book, The Nearly Weds. I loved Bridesmaids - but adored the characters of Zoe and Ryan and once I started it, couldn't put it down. I'm a huge fan. Thank you for writing such fabulous books. Karen
I read Bridesmaids while on Honeymoon in Jan 2009 - what a fab read. A few weeks later I spotted Nearly Weds and just had to read it. It was fab - I love it. What I'm dying to know is, when is your new book coming out - I can't wait to get stuck in! Lizzi
I just wanted to congratulate you for writing such great books. I've read Bridesmaids and Nearly Weds and loved them both. Helen
I heard your interview on Radio Lancashire a couple of weeks ago and made a mental note to look out for your books. Then when I was at my friend's house I asked her if she'd read any good books and she mentioned Bridesmaids. She said she couldn't put it down - and I agree with her. It's brilliant. Laura Cleminson
First and foremost, Bridesmaids kicked serious ass!! It is one of my all-time favourite chick-lits ever!! I couldn't tear myself away after reading the first chapter; i was totally immersed in it. I truly enjoyed Bridesmaids and i seriously hope that you will be writing your next book soon. Can't wait! A wonderful piece of work and thanks for Bridesmaids, really...keep on writing! Much love, Ratna from Singapore
I loved reading your first book Bridesmaids. I couldn't put it down - I read it on the bus, in the bath, in the advert breaks whilst watching the X Factor. I loved Evie, i just warmed to her straight away and I loved the ending soooo much when Jack sang to her; just so romantic I cried. You are now on my list of favourite authors along with Sophie Kinsella and Jill Mansell. Thank you, Emma Ragan
I am not normally one for looking up authors, let alone emailing a website. But I wanted to say that I thought it was the funniest thing I have read since Bridget Jones. Really pleased to hear the next book will be out soon. Good luck with writing more in the future. Louise McCourt
I live in a place called Wainuiomata which is in Wellington, New Zealand and got your book from my local library! I just wanted to tell you that I LOVE Bridesmaids! It caught my eye on the shelf and I have had to read it in little bits as I have 2 young children. So I looked forward to going to bed every night to read a little more. It was the best book that I have read in a long time! So thank you! Really look forward to your next one! Faye Husman
I have just finished reading Bridesmaids and have tried to find any other books of yours. I was so disappointed it was your first, but now can't wait to buy your next... so hurry up! It was a fab read from start to finish and the times I laughed out loud were constant! So don't waste any more time reading this get writing more! Well done, kind regards Christine Whittle
I read your book in two days on holiday! Can't wait for your next one. Hurry up please! Tracey Scott
As an avid reader I usually get through two books a week, but I've never read one where I've felt compelled to keep reading after page 3. I recently went on holiday and took along 'Bridesmaids' for the journey, and can I just say how much I laughed, particularly at the nightclub section, where the handbag mishap takes place. I'm not sure my fellow travellers saw the funny side when I burst out laughing during a 3am flight, but I couldn't help it. I fell in love with each character and ended up reading the book twice more during the holiday, I enjoyed it that much. I can't wait for the next Jane Costello instalment and will be frequently checking your website for updates :). Thanks for keeping me entertained and I hope for another book soon. Emma Callum
Congratulations Jane on a fantastically funny read! I have just finished reading 'Bridesmaids' while on holiday in Greece and found myself laughing out loud several times whilst lying round the pool! Even my husband who reluctantly started reading the book after he finished reading his own, was laughing hysterically on the plane coming home! Looking forward to the next book. Louise, London
I have just finished reading Bridesmaids. I first purchased the book just before I got married in July this year but didn't start reading it until a couple of weeks ago. I loved it - I couldn't put it down! Even my new husband wanted to know what was happening in each chapter! Thanks very much, Mrs Melissa Bevan
I went online to try to find more books that you might have written...really sad to see that I have to wait for the next one. I am still reading Bridesmaids and I am making it last as long as I can. I can sincerely say that it is so far the funniest book I have read.I love the fact that some of Evie's comments are totally unexpected. Can't wait for the next one. Sophie Hughes
Congratulations on the birth of your son - hope his big brother is equally impressed by the new arrival?! And, of course, congratulations on your first novel, Bridesmaids. A fantastic, throughly enjoyable and wonderfully written read. Can't wait to read the next one - keep up the brilliant work! Patricia
I have just finished reading Bridesmaids and i have to say that i haven't read something that makes me laugh out loud and cry and cringe with horror, all in the same book. I read quite a lot of books at the moment and I haven't found one I love as much as yours, which I read with a nice bottle of wine and after my little girl goes to bed. The only bad point was I couldn't put it down so I have finished it already - I bought it on Friday and now it's Sunday. Samantha Rogers
I just had to Email you to say congratulations on your 1st novel "Bridesmaids", I loved it! It truly is a compulsive page-turn er from start to finish, I just couldn't put it down, I finished reading it within 3 days which is a total miracle for me. I'm sure it will be a great success. I will certainly be recommending it to all my friends, it's a really enjoyable read. I am a fan of Sophie Kinsella and Jill Mansell novels and I must say "Bridesmaids" is certainly as good as any of theirs. I cannot wait for your next novel to hit the bookshops. Happy writing! Sonya Bewlay
Will you ever write a second book in a sequel to Bridesmaids? It was my summer read and I loved it! (: Even though im 13 and it was aimed for someone older than me, it was an excellent read + I couldn't put it down. Hannah
I am in the middle of reading your book, but I know already that I will be looking for more of them by you. Yes chick lit in all its glory - but who could have thought of that incredibly funny scene with the 10 inch virbator, probably one of the funniest that I have read. Jane M
Hi, I'm not a big reader but very much love Jane Green and Bridesmaids was definitely up there. Can't wait for the next one, you can't beat a chick lit. Diane
I am a chick lit lover and just had to write to say how brilliant your first novel Bridesmaids is. I couldn't put it down. I had just finished Marian Keyes' latest book and thought I would try yours as it was someone I had not heard of before. I have to say I enjoyed yours more! My husband just shook his head when he got home from work the other day and found me trying to read while cooking the dinner at the same time! I've not had that need to read and finish a book in a whilel now and it was very refreshing. It was funny, down to earth and I loved all the characters. The twist with Charlotte was excellent too - I didn't see that coming! Lisa Stewart
Well I am half way through Bridesmaids and can't put it down . I am at the point when I am trying to read the damn thing under my desk because I have run out of lunch hour. Evie has had me in stitches with her escapades. Up to now I can't fault it I love the light hearted approach and real down to earth content. Good look with any future projects, I shall be certainly sharing my experience of Bridesmaids with my friends. Look forward to seeing more of your books on the shelves. Sally, thirty something
I just wanted to send you an email to say how much I enjoyed Bridesmaids. Once I started it I could not put it down and read it over two nights. I laughed so much at it I cried, it has to be one of the funniest books I have ever read and I would recommend this to anyone. I am really excited to see that a sequel will be released next year, I can't wait. I will certainly be purchasing all of your books in the future as if that is how good your debut novel is then I can only imagine how enjoyable your follow ups will be. Karen
I have recently read your book Bridesmaids and really enjoyed it. I had finished it within 2 days - I just didn't want it to end. I see from your website you have another book out in March - will look forward to reading it. Thanks again - five stars! Katherine Bradford
I've just finished reading your book and thought it was great! I'm now gutted to have to wait until March until I can read another! What a fantastic job you've done and I will for sure be passing the book round for my friends to read. Catherine
