About Jane

Jane is the top ten best-selling author of five novels, including her latest, All The Single Ladies. She was a newspaper journalist for many years before she became an author, working on titles including the Liverpool Echo – where she started as a graduate trainee – and the Daily Mail. Until 2007, she was the Editor of the Liverpool Daily Post.

Jane wrote her first novel, Bridesmaids, while on maternity leave and, as well as becoming a best-seller, it was short-listed for the Melissa Nathan Award for Comedy Romance. She followed that up with The Nearly-Weds, which was named by the Romantic Novelists’ Association as Romantic Comedy of the Year 2010.

Jane’s books are now sold around the world and have been translated into sixteen languages.

Having lived in rural Lancashire for many years, she recently returned to the city of her birth, Liverpool, where she lives with her two young sons, Otis and Lucas, and her boyfriend Mark.

She is currently working on a sixth book and has continued to write for newspapers and magazines including Marie Claire, The Sunday Telegraph, Bella and the Daily Mail.
